Happiness is not passive. The path towards becoming a happier and more compassionate human being is when you actively invest time into being more happy. But happiness is simultaneously subjective. On the other hand, when you invest time in it, even as much as 45 minutes a day, you will be astonished by the results you see. It takes time, but it doesn’t have to be overly time-consuming. We will challenge our physical, mental, and social health in less than 45 minutes every day. These challenges fall under three pillars: physical, mental and social. Our founders
In the energetic setting of a Berlin Hot Yoga Studio in 2010, two resilient optimists, each on their individual paths toward well-being, met. Fueled by their curiosity, relentless hunger for personal growth, and a shared aspiration to cultivate happiness and better health, decide to help others do the same. This has grown into the big vision that is Happy Nation.
Amelia
Amelia has played an integral role of Happy Nation from its inception; initially, as Adam' s sparring partner, but as the project evolved it became as much her brainchild as his, making her the co-founder.... She helped Adam conceptualize the program and its structure, as a Canadian native English speaker, she co-wrote the original content, recruited potential users, conducted user testing, and everything in between. With a background in communications, Amelia is responsible for the company' s marketing, PR, and communication efforts.Before Happy Nation, she worked as a Personal Assistant to the CEO at a Berlin-based NPO gaining much insight into management and operational activities. Wellbeing passions: Weightlifting, yoga, running, sauna, hiking
Adam
Happy Nation exists because of Adam’s life-long interest in people, their problems, and more importantly, the solutions. He studied philosophy and cultural management but having also taken courses... in psychoanalysis at University and having completed one himself, he became well acquainted with the unconscious structures of the mind. With this knowledge and experience in coaching people, he conceptualized wellyou, which later turned into the grander vision - Happy Nation. Adam is passionate about meditation and managed a Vipassana meditation centre for 1 year. Additionally, his journey has led him to contribute as a research assistant for Germany' s Green Party and assume various management roles. Wellbeing passions: Running, yoga, cycling, sauna, hiking
