General recommendations say men should drink at least 3.7 liters (about 125 ounces) a day, and women should drink at least 2.7 liters (about 91 ounces) a day. With the rise of temperatures in the summer, there is a higher risk for dehydration so be sure to drink even more during these months. What also impacts your daily water needs are your activity and size (if you have more body weight and if you exercise, you should drink more water). Try having a water bottle with you every step of the way, so you can be constantly reminded of it!
