Yes. Fish falls under the meat category.

Fish is very good for you because it contains a lot of Omega 3 fats that are great for the heart, brain, and as a source of protein. However, these health benefits can be easily canceled out when you eat fish that is contaminated with antibiotics, mercury, and PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls – an industrial chemical that can be found circulating in air, soil, and water) that are very harmful to your health.

You can get your Omega 3 intake by consuming other foods such as nuts, seeds (flax, chia, walnuts, almonds, etc.), fruits, and vegetables (winter squash, beans, and tofu).

During the workout, we are trying to keep up an almost 80% vegetarian diet so that we can, for a short period of time, minimize the chances of consuming antibiotics and harmful chemicals that meat and fish potentially contain.
